Dileton Maritime is a ship management company with a long history in managing and operation of tanker and bulk carrier vessels, since 1977.
The company currently operate, maintain, crew and trade a fleet of three panamax bulk carriers, ranging from 75,000dwt to 78,000dwt vessels, trading worldwide in a safe, efficient and profitable manner.
Mainly collaborate with grain, coal, iron ore, and minor bulk producers, as well as traders, charterers and shipping operators, to offer comprehensive and customer tailor made ocean transportation services to our customers.
OUR HISTORY
All started back on 1977 in a small village near Peloponnese, called “Diabolitsi”
Dileton Maritime S.A was established as Ship Management Company in 1977 and under Law ’89 in 1983.
During the period of 1977-93, Dileton Maritime S.A. managed twenty (20) vessels some of which were twin deckers and bulk carriers with satisfactory financial results.
In 1994 till 2018, has managed twelve (12) product tankers from 30,000 dwt to 50,000 dwt, carrying gasoil, palmoil and other clean products. Last vessel under operation was MT Hydroussa, IMO II-III, 44,500 dwt double hull clean product tanker.
The last twenty (20) years, Dileton Maritime S.A. had only one (G.A.) claim of USD 300,000 with MT Stardrop, which sold April 2004. Vessel’s names under management at that time were MT Delos, MT Mando, MT Marianna D, MT Miramare, MT Stardrop, MT Doroussa.
On 2016-17, re- entered the market of bulk carriers by taking under management three (3) Panamax vessels.

OUR PEOPLE
Ashore
Dileton provides full management services, including technical supervision, marine and commercial operations, including insurance. These matters are handled by experienced staff and all departments constantly liaise with each other within a framework of policies and procedures in order to provide successful and safe operation and first class service. All company personnel are fully qualified and have appropriate experience in their respective positions within the company.
The Company also implements a Safety Management System and a Plan Maintenance System that assists to achieve its effectiveness, and has been successfully audited and certified by DNV-GL. The vessel’s hull, machinery and equipment are maintained in accordance with Class requirements, and all personnel (both on shore and off shore) are trained in accordance with ISM or other applicable regulations.
Crew on board
In respect of crewing arrangements, the Master, Chief Engineer and First Officer are Yugoslavian/ Montenegro which are with Dileton for more than 25 years, the rest of the crew are from Philippines.
All sea personnel are fully accredited and hold qualifications in full compliance with S.T.C.W., Flag State or other applicable regulations.
